About Agape Health

Treating Body, Mind, and Spirit While Supporting Medical Freedom of Choice

Welcome to Agape Health, where we believe true healing begins by restoring balance within the body, mind, and spirit. Our faith serves as a guiding principle and foundational part of our commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

The name “Agape” comes from the Greek word describing God’s unconditional and all-encompassing love. That meaning is deeply woven into the heart of our practice and reflects how we strive to care for every patient—with compassion, integrity, respect, and understanding.

“For you were called to freedom, brethren… through love serve one another… You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” — Galatians 5:13

At Agape Health, we believe healthcare should focus on treating the whole person rather than simply masking symptoms with another medication or temporary solution. Our goal is to help identify and address underlying contributors to illness whenever possible while supporting long-term wellness and preventative health.

We embrace an “East meets West” philosophy by combining traditional medicine with integrative, preventative, regenerative, and wellness-focused approaches to care. Every patient’s health journey is unique, which is why we take time to listen, educate, and create individualized treatment plans focused on the whole picture—not just the symptoms.

Medical Freedom of Choice

At Agape Health, we strongly believe in medical freedom and informed healthcare decision-making. We believe patients should feel empowered to ask questions, understand their options, and make healthcare decisions aligned with their personal beliefs, values, and goals without pressure or judgment.

Our role is to provide experienced medical guidance, education, and support while partnering with patients on their chosen path toward health and wellness.

Meet Shay Whetstone, FNP-C

Shay Whetstone is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years of combined experience as both a registered nurse and nurse practitioner. She provides comprehensive healthcare management for patients of all ages and has a passion for preventative, regenerative, and holistic medicine.

Born and raised in Sheridan, Wyoming, Shay is a proud third-generation Wyoming native who values faith, family, service, and community. Married for nearly 25 years and the mother of three children, she spent many years traveling throughout different parts of the United States while supporting her husband’s military career in the United States Air Force before eventually returning home to Sheridan to re-establish roots and serve the community she loves.

Shay later answered her own calling to military service by joining the United States Navy Nurse Corps, where she served over 14 years through both active duty and reserve service. Throughout her military career, she held multiple leadership roles, including Officer in Charge of Medical, Headquarters Metrics Officer, and Detachment Officer overseeing the Northwest region of the United States.

She also served aboard the USNS Mercy during the 2016 Pacific Partnership humanitarian mission and was later recalled as part of the rapid response medical team during the COVID-19 pandemic in New York City, working primarily within the Bellevue Hospital Emergency Room and ICU settings.

Her years of military and medical experience helped shape her belief that healthcare should be compassionate, patient-centered, and rooted in service before self.

Today, Shay’s faith in God and country continues to serve as a driving force behind her approach to healthcare and community service. She believes in treating the “trinity of health”—body, mind, and spirit—while helping patients take an active role in their own wellness journey.

At Agape Health, our mission is simple: to serve others with compassion, integrity, and a commitment to helping patients restore balance and achieve lasting wellness in every aspect of life.
